Life in a military unit is not as colorless as it might seem at first glance. Sometimes solemn events do occur. First of all, these are visits by top officials of a state or region. In the absence of a chief, the regiment duty officer must meet them with all the necessary teams and reports, and then accompany them on the regiment, familiarize him with his life and activities, answering all the necessary questions. In addition, the duty officer must know where the boss and his deputies are, what they are doing at the moment. All visits should be controlled by the duty officer in part and recorded in the duty book.

He must be competent in the use of weapons and protective equipment, to know thoroughly the operation of warning systems, the rules for receiving visitors and issuing weapons.
