Parcel post
The parcel is a postal item containing photographs, manuscripts, prints. Parcels, like letters, are simple, registered and valuable, that is, with declared value. The minimum threshold for the weight of the parcel is 100 grams, the maximum is 2 kilograms.
The package
A parcel is a postal item containing mainly cultural objects. If its mass exceeded the mark of 10 kg, then this shipment is considered heavy. If the height, width or length exceeded the mark of 60 centimeters, then it is considered oversized. The same thing happens if the height, length and width of the mark of 120 centimeters is exceeded. The sum of these three measurements in fact should not exceed 300 centimeters: the maximum allowable dimensions look like this: 350 × 190 × 130 cm.
Types of international shipments
For various reasons, they are also in high demand. Types of Russian Post parcels that cross the border can be very different.
An international letter is a text message intended for international mailing. Such types of shipments can also be simple, custom-made with declared value. In addition, they are divided into air and ground letters.The maximum possible mass of international writing is equal to two kilograms.
Parcels intended for shipments abroad are ordinary sealed packages, as already described above. They may contain photographs, manuscripts, and not particularly valuable printed materials. They can be custom and simple. There are also air and ground. The maximum mass threshold of this type of parcel is 5 kilograms.
The international bag "M" is often used among international types of parcels in Russia by mail. It usually contains an impressive volume of printed matter: newspapers, papers, magazines, books. International "M" bags can be either custom-made or simple, both air and ground. The maximum mass threshold of such a parcel is 14.5 kilograms.
The international small packet is a small shipment that is intended to be moved abroad. Such a parcel contains unbreakable items, samples of various goods. Among the types of international small packages are custom-made and simple, as well as air and ground. The maximum allowable weight is 2 kilograms.
Another type of international shipments is the international package. This is a postal item with objects of cultural and domestic and other purposes. There are also air and ground shipments. Boundary mass - 20 kilograms.
Land international shipments - these are all types of parcels of the Russian Post that are not related to transfers by air.
Land delivery is a shipment that can be delivered by land or by water.
Commodity Investments
Currently, based on the rules of the Russian Post, commodity investments are sent by simple parcel or by sending 1st class.
Transfers of international designation with a commodity investment are carried out through an international small package or an international parcel.
Declared value
This indicator must be declared at departure. Estimated cost is indicated in state currency (in rubles), and it also has no restrictions. For the discharge of parcels of class 1, the maximum limit is declared in the amount of 20,000 rubles, for parcels - 10,000 rubles.
C.O.D
Cash on delivery is the amount that must be paid by the addressee. This procedure is the key to receiving the parcel. This indicator includes the amount of cash on delivery (the actual amount of the declared value) plus the commission for the transfer of funds. Cash on delivery can send exclusively valuable transfers and shipments.
Boxes and their sizes
